Five Tips To Maintain Your Social Media Presence When You Are Busy

When you’re really busy, it’s hard to have a consistent presence on social media. Unfortunately, consistency is critical to building your brand on social media. You need to post often and regularly. Most importantly, you need to build really engaging content which can take hours to do. However, there are some things you can do that help you manage your social media presence with less time. Here are five tips to help you get started:

1. Use Templates

Templates are a great way to create beautiful content in minutes. There are a number of places to find great templates. Canva, Adobe Stock, and even Etsy have easy to use, beautiful templates that will match your brand. The best part is templates can help you create a large volume of content quickly.

2. Incorporate User-Generated Content

If you are looking for great content, look no further than your customers. Customers love being brand advocates. You can use their pictures, testimonials, and comments as content. This has the secondary effect of building brand loyalty.

3. Repurpose Old Content

As your audience grows on social media, it’s less likely they have seen some of your past campaigns. Run some metrics and find the campaigns that had the best performance. Then take those campaigns and reimagine them. A simple bit of formatting, extra copy, or a different layout can help you refresh old content and save time.

4. Outsource

If you really don’t have time to run a social media campaign, you can always outsource. You can find social media management professionals on Fiverr or Upwork for very affordable prices. Outsourcing can take the task off your plate, without having to hire a new employee.

5. Leverage Automation

There are many points you can automate with social media marketing. First you can use a scheduler, like Coschedule that will automatically post your content when engagement is the highest. You can also automate your customer service with a chatbot. You can also develop “suggested replies” to help respond to FAQs. Automation takes a lot of the busy work off your plate, saving time.
