A Trade Show Exhibit Design Checklist

January 10, 2020

When you take your business to the trade show, what do you do to ensure a solid ROI? Most business owners understand how important your exhibit is. Good trade show exhibits offer you the chance to get the most from your time at the show and will ensure that you reach your goals – whatever they may be.

But is your exhibit everything it could be? It’s important to do an assessment and ensure that your trade show exhibit offers everything that it should to your business. Here’s a rundown of some of the main things to consider.

  • Branding – Your company brand should always be present, and that applies to the trade show exhibit as well. Is your brand being represented properly? Is it clear and easy to identify? If not, you have some changes to make.

  • Clear Trade Show Message – Whenever you head to a trade show, you likely have a goal and a message in mind. Whether it’s connecting with peers, creating more leads, or something else entirely, knowing your overall message is important – as is putting it in full view when you design your exhibit. Whether it’s a company message or one specific only to the trade show, make sure it’s there and that it’s obvious.

  • Interactivity – Your exhibit needs to stand out, and a good way to do so is to make sure it’s interactive in one way or another. Whether it’s hands on demonstrations, videos, virtual reality setups, or something else entirely, taking the time stand out is a must. It’s easier than you might think to add some interactive elements to any exhibit.

  • Your Presenter – While your overall exhibit design is important, it’s also important to have someone that will present your business the right way. A good presenter will be the face of your business while on the trade show floor, and it’s important that you have someone who will get out there and talk to participants and engage with them to ensure you get the best results possible.

All of these elements have an impact on the kind of results you get from your trade show visit. Your trade show exhibit is the foundation on which your entire experience is based, and it’s important that you do all you can to get the most from it. Our team can help.
