Three Overlooked Features Of Good Exhibit Design

May 10, 2019

Trade shows are one of the most important ways for businesses to expand their potential with numerous opportunities throughout the duration of the show. But in order to really stand out and get noticed, you’ll need to have a clear plan in place – and a solid trade show exhibit as well.

While the basics of good exhibit design are well known – branding, product placement, and so on – other things aren’t as focused on. As such, it’s important that you take a few minutes to look more closely at some of the more overlooked features of good exhibit design to ensure that your trade show experience is all that it can be. Here are three of the big ones that you can’t afford to ignore.

1.    Engagement – One of the best ways to draw in your participants, get them interested, and leave them remembering your business is to make sure that they are engaged with your exhibit. From using hands on product demos to integrating video and audio elements into your design, the right level of engagement is a must for maintaining.

2.    Contact Connections – Another big thing that is easy to overlook? Taking steps to get some contact info. If you connect with a participant at the show, that’s great. But what is really good for your ROI is when you get a way to follow up with them later. Emails, social media contact info, and more can all go a long way towards making sure that you get the kind of results you need form your interactions with participants.

3.    Excitement – Another major factor worth thinking about? How exciting your exhibit is for participants. There are plenty of different exhibits out there, and those that get the best results are those that create a sense of excitement and that draw in participants. Your design should include elements that help generate those feelings.

These three simple elements are well worth focusing on when thinking about your trade show design. We know it’s not always easy to forge those connections with participants or to just know how to build a better trade show exhibit. That’s why we’re here to help. Contact Lighthouse Exhibits today to get started getting the best trade show exhibit design possible – and watch as your ROI increases in a big way.
