3 Easy Ways To Create A More Memorable Trade Show Exhibit

May 10, 2018

Heading to the trade show is one of the best ways that a business can forge stronger connections, build up business and client relationships, and also extend their brand identity in a significant way. But, it's also important that you take the time to create a strong exhibit that will actually be remembered by attendees.

Think of just how many people are on the trade show floor, and then consider how many exhibits they’ll see during the course of their visit. Dozens? Hundreds? This means that you have to stand out in their mind. The businesses that succeed the most from trade shows are those who are remembered days after an attendee leaves the trade show.

But how do you do it? At Lighthouse Exhibits, we've found that several key tips will be integral for standing out and being remembered in a big way. Here's a look at three of those tips.

  1. Brand Properly  - The foundation of any successful trade show visit is your exhibit, and a good exhibit displays your company's brand image prominently. Logos, colors, slogans, and overall message should all be easy to spot, stand out, and be easy for visitors to remember. If you have freebies to hand out, match them to your exhibit as well. Branding matters in a big way, and a good, effectively designed custom exhibit will help build your brand up significantly.

  2. Integrate Technology - You don't have to go crazy and invest in tens of thousands of dollars in virtual reality systems. But, integrating multimedia where you can is important. This could include things like video or audio displays, but even linked up Twitter and Facebook accounts offering prizes or giveaways can drive people to your exhibit and help you stick in their mind long after it's over with.

  3. Get Personal - This one is the one that goes well beyond just a custom exhibit design. You also have to make sure that you interact with visitors on a personal level. Get their contact information, ask them how you can solve their problems and then show them what you can offer as a solution. Then, follow up later when possible to remind them of your interactions.

Think of what it is that you want to showcase to visitors and then consider what kind of an exhibit will highlight those points. Keep the three simple tips above in mind and you'll be on your way to a more memorable presence at your next trade show. We can help. Contact Lighthouse Exhibits today to find out more.
