Creative Trade Show Displays On A Budget

Creating stunning trade show displays is one of the fundamental keys to ensuring that your time at the show actually leads to success. A good trade show exhibit today will have numerous features, including interactive aspects, brand reinforcement and more. The key goal should be to increase leads, build your brand, and create relationships with participants who visit your exhibit.
 

But for those on a tight budget, it can seem much more challenging than it should. The reality is that you don’t need a huge amount of funds to create a good exhibit – you just need creativity and a solid understanding of what really works. Here are some examples of how to get great trade show results without spending a small fortune on your exhibit. 

  • Use what you have. Digital video displays, for example, are becoming more and more common in exhibits. But you don’t have to rush out and buy dozens of monitors or TVs to create a wall of video. Integrate monitors or TVs you already have into the display and use them instead. You’ll get the same results but without a larger investment. 
     

  • Quality, not quantity, is what you need to focus on. Think of the specific goals you’re looking to achieve and then create an exhibit design that helps with that. You don’t need a huge number of elements if you’re only trying to push one or two ideas – focus on those ideas and you’ll get better results. 
     

  • Get interactive wherever you can. Whether it’s connecting social media to your exhibit in some way, playing games, setting up demonstrations, or using giveaways to draw in attention, the more that you involve participants the better. And it doesn’t take a major cash investment to do so, either. 
     

  • Pay attention to your people. The most important part of the exhibit will almost always be the person who is running it. When your sales team gets out and talks to participants and engages with them, it creates a more meaningful experience. The human quality matters.
